As part of the encouragement of people to participate in effective recycling we offer a community workshop programme. This enables children and or adults to participate in designing and producing recycled glass for installation in site specific public locations.

GBU is committed to creating a sustainable future for the environment and believes the benefits of recycling glass and other products can have a positive impact at global, national and local levels. By re-using and recycling materials we reduce the need for further quarrying thus saving on raw material.

Our GBU Community Programme offers recycling seminars to schools and community groups and an opportunity to visit our production unit at Hothouse. We also take part in community events, such as Discover Hackney, Open House and hold regular open sale days and present at environment exhibitions.
