GBU LLP offers an innovative and replicable, local level, response to the ever- growing mountain of waste glass. Producing high quality, 100% recycled glass products from low value glass waste suitable for use in regeneration projects. It is in line with major local, national and international environmental strategies and offers a number of social benefits in deprived inner cities including: Training, employment and community recycling.

eluna products provide alternatives to other natural and man- made products, eliminate the use of raw materials and energy that would otherwise be consumed in the manufacture of virgin glass and help to reduce the volume of glass waste being landfilled. Industrial glass production is a very high energy process generating significant environmental damage.

The aim is to develop a replicable model and roll out the enterprise to other major urban centres throughout the UK providing further recycling and employment opportunities.

Our GBU LLP Community Programme offers recycling seminars to schools and community groups and an opportunity to visit Hothouse, the site of our production unit.
