Broad Street, Reading

Eluna in partnership with Free Form Arts Trust, successfully tendered for Public Artworks in Broad Street, Reading, working in close association with Landscape Architects Moor Piet & Brookes to create a modern, forward-looking installation utilising both contemporary and recycled materials.

Reflecting the area’s proximity to the River Kennet, these paviours feature a stylised wave motif and distinctive shades of blue glass cullet from bottles and windows.

The 100% recycled glass paviours in Broad Street feature uplighters powered by fibre optics and were installed in the summer of 2001.
